1 Who we are

SuccessStudio ("we", "us", "our") is a software product accessible at successstudio.online. We provide a visual builder for creating SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Marketing (RMK) career site components.

2 Data we collect

2.1 When you make a purchase

When you buy a SuccessStudio Pro license, the payment is processed by Stripe. We receive the following information from Stripe after a successful purchase:

Your email address
Your name (if provided during checkout)
Transaction ID and date

We do not receive or store your card number, bank details, or any other sensitive financial data. All payment data is handled exclusively by Stripe.

2.2 When you use the builder

SuccessStudio runs entirely in your browser. We do not collect, transmit, or store any components you build, text you enter, or designs you create. Everything stays on your device.

Your license key (if activated) is stored in your browser's localStorage — it never leaves your device except to be validated against our license database.

2.3 License database

We maintain a secure database containing:

License keys (generated strings, e.g. SSPRO-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX)
Email address associated with each key
Purchase date
Active / revoked status

This database is hosted on Supabase (infrastructure in the EU/US).

2.4 Data we do NOT collect

We do not run analytics or tracking scripts
We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any advertising trackers
We do not collect IP addresses for profiling purposes

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

4 Third-party services

Stripe

Payment processing is handled by Stripe, Inc. Stripe is certified as PCI DSS Level 1. Your payment data is governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy. We never see or store your card details.

Supabase

Our license database is hosted on Supabase. Data may be stored in data centers in the United States or European Union. Supabase complies with GDPR and provides appropriate data processing agreements. See Supabase's Privacy Policy.

Email delivery

License keys are delivered to you by email. Your email address is used solely to send you your purchase confirmation and license key.

5 Cookie policy

A cookie is a small text file stored on your device by your browser. We distinguish between two types:

5.1 Essential cookies

These cookies are strictly necessary for the service to function. They cannot be disabled.

These cookies are only set when you click the payment button and visit Stripe's checkout page. They are governed by Stripe's Cookie Policy.

5.2 Local storage (not cookies)

SuccessStudio stores the following data in your browser's localStorage. This is not a cookie and is never transmitted to any server except during license validation:

5.3 No advertising or tracking cookies

We do not use any tracking, profiling, or advertising cookies. No Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or similar scripts are loaded on this website.

5.4 Managing cookies

You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Note that disabling essential cookies may prevent Stripe's checkout from functioning correctly. Links to cookie settings for common browsers:

6 Data retention

We retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy:

License records (email + key): retained for the lifetime of the product or until you request deletion.
Support emails: retained for up to 2 years.
Payment records: retained by Stripe according to their policy and applicable financial regulations.

7 Your rights (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have the following rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):

Right of access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
Right to rectification — request correction of inaccurate data
Right to erasure — request deletion of your personal data ("right to be forgotten")
Right to restriction — request that we limit the processing of your data
Right to data portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
Right to object — object to processing based on legitimate interests
